LA GUINGUETA BEACHSIDE BAR BARCELONA

Built this year, La Guingueta Beachside Bar & Restaurant in Barcelona, Spain was designed by Sandra Tarruella and her firm Sandra Tarruella Interioristas.

The goal was to add freshness, warmth and a new role to the “tapas” concept. Helmed by Chef Carles Abellan on Barcelona’s beach; La Guingueta brings new value to the fresh local products.

The color palate includes red, an obligatory color for all beach bars of Barcelona; orange black and military green. Natural wood tables, wicker lamps and lots of natural light that passes through the wooden blinds provide a cozy, atmosphere with a masculine touch. Communal tables, benches with cushions, a lounge area and corner for cocktails and ice cream allows for long and leisurely days to be spent by the beach.
